I started this blog before a week and the visitors I got from search engines who used the keywords funny questions, funny smart question, funny answers and similar, for the post Questions with smart and funny answers. Am I running a funny blog here? Are these keywords relevant to my blog? :angry: These visitors are the untargeted people and also the only people I got from google.

The Search results for any niche with common and most popular keywords are occupied by big blogs. What about the crawling blogs? They are left from the search result or they hide in some 10th or 15th page. Instead of concentrating on SEO techniques you can use techniques like Getting Reviewed by a popular blog, submitting your article in a popular newsletter, holding a contest and so on? These techniques will bring you tons of targeted traffic. They may cost some bucks, but you can save your valuable time. Your ROI will also be good by these methods. So, QUIT SEO. :devil:

Before listing out the benefits of SEO, I want to tell you that, for a small blog to get targeted traffic from Search engines, all you need is PATIENCE. I got my visitors from the second day of my blog?s launch. The visitors may be untargeted people for my blog. But, they are the target audience for the specific post Questions with smart and funny answers. Understood the difference? In future I?m sure my blog will get visitors for my target keywords from google.

 

Well, it is not that much easy to get the top 10 search engine positions quickly, either it is not that much complicated. Let me show an example. Look at the search result below(As on July 26).

Here for the keyword ?make money online? www.carlocab.com a blog launched before some months is in the 5th position. The giant blog www.doshdosh.com is in the 7th position. The evil blog of Johnchow is not in the top 10 position. I think, this is enough to convince you SEO rocks.

If you think SEO is a waste of time then you?ll be the loser. Get more backlinks and do all the SEO techniques you know. Do this gradually and one day your blog will be the one among the top 10 at google for your target keyword. To the end, the thing you need to get targeted traffic from search engines is, PATIENCE.
