Internet is for porn?
Not exactly. But to a certain extent, Internet is for porn. The adult industry is a huge money making industry around Internet. There is a very big market for adult products. I know some bloggers still use porn images to drive traffic from Google Images. Porn! Porn! Porn! everywhere! Okay. It may be anything! I want to show you an interesting video I found at youtube. A Blogger’s role model

Who is your role model in blogging? Darren rowse? John chow? Or Steve Paulina? It may be any one. The reason why you need a role model is, you can follow their methods in your blog to get success. Most of the bloggers use the concept of conducting contests to get backlinks and to popularize their blog. I think this idea was first implemented by John Chow. Almost everyone in the blogosphere is using this contest idea. So, their role model blogger is John Chow.
If you have a role model, then it’ll help you develop your blog by following the ideas and methods of blogging from your role model. Your role model should be a professional in blogging so that your blog should be a professional one. Your role model’s blog is a popular one. People love to read that blog. So if you follow his/her methodology in blogging it helps to you write posts which will be loved by your visitors too.
Now let me tell my view about having a role model. If you follow other blogger’s (your role model) methodology in your blog, it’ll make your blog look like a duplicate one. People always love new things. People won’t remember what you said, they won’t remember what you did, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel. Only if you have your originality in your blog, your visitors will feel good. So don’t try to follow others. You may use some ideas of other bloggers which really help you (like the contest idea). But, don’t try to follow the style of other bloggers. Never change your originality. Because, there is no one to play your role better than you. So be yourself. You’re born to be a role model for others. Why do you search others to be your role model? The world is waiting to see you success story. All the best for your blogging success.

Double your Adsense revenue

Adsense is a great income generator for any blog. It is easy to generate income from Adsense since it is easy to implement and it will show ads relevant to your blog which interests your visitors. When you get more clicks at your ads then you?ll get more income from Adsense. You can get more clicks only if you are lucky. It is illegal to point Adsense ads in any way. So you have to do some tweaks to get more clicks.
I once came across an article about merging psychological impact of colors on the human mind with Adsense. The combination of Red and Yellow colors has an instant impact on the person who sees them. When you Adsense ads are in a combination of Red and Yellow (Red border & yellow background) then your ads will pull your visitors eyes on them. When the visibility of your ads is good then there are more chances for getting more clicks.
But in my view, if you use red and yellow colors in your ads it will spoil your blog?s beauty if it does not match with your blog?s background. Imagine an ad with red border and yellow background. It?s impossible for me to imagine it. My suggestion to double your Adsense revenue is ?Blend Adsense ads with your blog?. Use the background of Adsense as your blog?s background. Make the Adsense ads not look like an extra part in your blog. The position of ads is very important to get more clicks. You can use a vertical banner at your sidebar. Place a Large Rectangle after the title of every post or let the Adsense ads float right in the posts. This type of placements will surely result in getting more clicks.
If anyone tried with Red and Yellow combination let me know how it works for you. It may work fine, but it will ruin your blog?s professionalism. Do you Agree?
How I got Technorati rank 1

How I got Technorati Rank 1? I don?t know. On August 04, IST 10.30 pm, when I looked at my Technorati rank I was shocked. I?m ranked No.1 with just 32 authorities :w00t: . When I clicked the top 100 button near the rank it leads to a page where the original top 100 blogs exists. It was Engadget at the Top 1 position with 29,988 authorities. I think there is an error with Technorati ranking algorithm or it may be a message from God to me that my blog will soon reach Rank 1.
When I saw the rank for other blogs all blogs are ranked 1. Whats wrong with Technorati? :angry:
SEO ?Waste of time for small blogs?

Are you wasting your valuable time in SEO? Ha ha… :tongue: You won?t get targeted traffic from Search Engines, if your blog is small.
I started this blog before a week and the visitors I got from search engines who used the keywords funny questions, funny smart question, funny answers and similar, for the post Questions with smart and funny answers. Am I running a funny blog here? Are these keywords relevant to my blog? :angry: These visitors are the untargeted people and also the only people I got from google.
The Search results for any niche with common and most popular keywords are occupied by big blogs. What about the crawling blogs? They are left from the search result or they hide in some 10th or 15th page. Instead of concentrating on SEO techniques you can use techniques like Getting Reviewed by a popular blog, submitting your article in a popular newsletter, holding a contest and so on? These techniques will bring you tons of targeted traffic. They may cost some bucks, but you can save your valuable time. Your ROI will also be good by these methods. Opening Link in New Window or Same Window? ? An answer to Desibaba

I came across a topic opening external links to new windows or not at http://www.desinotes.com. At last from the comments of the visitors to his post, Desi suggested that most of the people prefer opening external links to new windows.
In my view, opening external links in new window is disrespectful to the visitor as Desi mentioned. The comments for Desi?s post are almost from blog owners. They commented in a blogger?s view. But in the view of a reader, he/she wants to take the decision by them but not by you.
The reason why blog/website owners use new window is, not to let the visitor leave their blog/website. But if the visitor is really interested in the blog/website then for sure they open external links only in new window or new tab by themselves. So, using _blank between <a> tag is not needed until it is necessary. If it is necessary, then let your visitor know the link opens in new window by using title within the <a> tag. Here is an example.
Even if they clicked the link directly by mistake, they will come back to the previous page if it is an interesting one. That?s why there is a Back button in the browser.
There are some cases where it is not bad if you use new window. You can use new window while linking to a pdf document, an image or similar things. These types of files are different from pages. So, opening them in new window makes the navigation of the reader easy.
To the last, don?t disrespect the desire of your visitors by using new window.
